Beyerskloof-Family Winery & Pinotage Pioneer

Beyerskloof is a family-owned winery located in the heart of Stellenbosch, one of the most prestigious wine regions in South Africa. It lies on slopes benefiting from the ideal combination of maritime influence from False Bay and granite soils, which give rise to structured, fruit-forward wines. The winery was founded by Beyers Truter, a pioneer of the Pinotage grape, which has become its signature and the cornerstone of its production.

The history of the farm dates back to the 1980s, when the original property was acquired and gradually planted with vineyards. Today, Beyerskloof spans dozens of hectares and ranks among the most respected producers of Pinotage in the world.
